Non-stick self-assembling nanofilms for glass bakeware
Powered by nanotechnologyDue to environmental issues with many other forms of non-stick coatings, Nanofilm has developed non-stick coatings for glass, which is used on bakeware.
These transparent, invisible ultra-thin films are less than 10 nanometers thick. They provide the following characteristics:
- Non-stick
- Long-lasting
- Contaminant releasing
- Non-staining
The glass treatment can be applied during OEM manufacturing through a spray coating process or as a consumer aftermarket treatment.
Nanofilm has also worked with partner companies to custom-develop coatings for these purposes, either as new formulations or modifications to existing ones in the partner’s formulary.
