Management Team

 Bruce Vereecken

Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Vereecken is responsible for all business operations of Nanofilm. He joined the company in January 2000 as Chief Financial Officer and assumed responsibility for IS, Production, and Purchasing in January 2001. Mr. Vereecken previously worked with Ernst & Young on the audit and consulting staffs and with the BFGoodrich Company in financial and operations positions. He earned his B.S. and an M.B.A. from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

KRISH RAO  Krish Rao, Ph.D.

Vice President Technology
Dr. Krish Rao combines a breadth of experience in research and development with an exceptional understanding of commercialization, providing outstanding product development leadership for Nanofilm. His expertise spanning over thirty years of industrial experience in new product development and commercialization in fibers, plastics, and film industries, for diverse end use market such as aerospace, automotive, power tools, construction and so on. Dr. Rao has also been instrumental in global business development and international joint ventures in his work for Allied Signal, Michael Day Enterprises and Shriram Fibers. The holder of four patents and author of a variety of technical publications, Dr. Rao holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Masters Degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Engineering Administration, and a Ph.D., from the University of Utah in Materials Science and Engineering.

 John Swett

Vice President of Sales and Marketing
John Swett brings a unique combination of skills and experience built on over 20 years at Bayer Corporation, the diversified chemical, pharmaceutical, and imaging technology company. Subsequent to that, he ran a consultancy helping companies identify acquisitions, develop strategic plans, improve operational efficiencies and create an environment where people are motivated to excel. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, acquisition and divestment, market strategy and analysis and supply chain management. John received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida, and completed advanced management development programs at the Harvard School of Business and other institutions.

Michael Creeden  Michael Creeden

Senior Sales Representative
Michael Creeden has over twenty five years of domestic and international sales experience in building successful partnerships with Fortune 500 retailers. He comes to Nanofilm from AgfaPhoto, where he managed all North American industrial sales of consumable products and equipment. Over his career, Mr. Creeden has built a reputation for strong and strategic customer relationships that opened profitable opportunities for his customers through the introduction of new products and programs.

 Jodi Groh

Director of Marketing
Ms. Groh is responsible for developing and implementing the company's marketing plan and oversees Nanofilm's communications efforts through advertising, trade shows, public relations, and product introduction. She started her career at VN Marketing Strategies in business-to-business advertising, media buying and public relations. She joined Nanofilm in 1994 in sales and marketing. Ms. Groh has a B.S. in Advertising from Kent State University, as well as credentials in Graphic and Commercial Arts.

 John Majewski

Director of Production Operations
Mr. Majewski oversees Nanofilm's production operations, which includes Aftermarket Production, as well as safety and facility management for the company. He originally joined Nanofilm as Chemical Production Manager. Mr. Majewski graduated from The University of Akron with a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked for over 20 years with BFGoodrich in a variety of manufacturing and operations positions prior to joining Nanofilm.

 Darlene K. Jacobson

Corporate Controller, Director of Information Systems and Human Resources
Ms. Jacobson joined the company in November of 2000. She was previously with Newell-Rubbermaid, Ivex Packaging Corporation, and USG in various plant accounting management roles. Darlene earned her B.S. from Ashland College in 1983 with a major in accounting.
